What Dewsia Covers

Dewsia is an English-language publication covering Asian beauty – with a particular focus on Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing skincare markets.

We publish three types of content:

Industry news – brand launches, acquisitions, regulatory changes, and market developments across Asia’s beauty sector. Short, factual, and sourced.

Editorials and analysis – in-depth brand profiles, product comparisons, ingredient deep dives, and market commentary. We write with a point of view, not press release language.

Consumer guides – honest buying guides, skincare routines, and product reviews built for people who care about what they put on their skin. We focus on what works in tropical and humid climates, where most mainstream Western and Korean advice falls short.

Why Dewsia Exists

Asian beauty coverage in English is dominated by K-beauty. That’s understandable – Korean skincare built the category. But the wider region is producing brands, formulations, and ingredient stories that deserve serious editorial attention.

Vietnamese skincare brands are entering international markets. Southeast Asian consumers have different climate needs than the audiences most beauty media write for. Local brands across the region are growing fast, attracting investment, and developing products that solve problems the global beauty industry often ignores.

Dewsia exists to cover that space – clearly, honestly, and without hype.

What We Don’t Do

We don’t write advertorials disguised as reviews. We don’t rank products we haven’t researched. When a brand pays for coverage, we label it. When we don’t know something, we say so.

Who’s Behind This

Dewsia is edited by Cezary Kowalski – a journalist covering Asian beauty markets with a focus on Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian region.
