ACCA KAPPA has opened its first pop-up store in Hong Kong at K11 ART MALL in Tsim Sha Tsui, marking the Italian personal care brand’s first cross-over collaboration in the market. The temporary space opened on June 23 and will run through July 31.
Limited Retail Collaboration
The pop-up combines ACCA KAPPA’s brush heritage with a Sanrio-themed collaboration built around My Melody and My Sweet Piano. The brand said limited-edition wooden brushes featuring hot-stamping and laser-engraved character motifs will be sold exclusively at the concept store in limited quantities.
The activation also includes on-site personalised laser engraving for selected brushes, allowing customers to add English names or exclusive themed patterns. That gives the project a stronger gifting and collectible angle than a standard brand pop-up.
Hong Kong Brand-Building Push
ACCA KAPPA said the space was designed around an “Italian Garden” concept, blending classical European styling with pastel visual cues tied to the Sanrio characters. The format suggests the brand is using experiential retail and exclusivity to sharpen its position in Hong Kong rather than relying only on conventional counter distribution.
For Dewsia readers, the significance lies in format and market strategy. Heritage personal care brands are increasingly using short-term retail activations, character licensing and product personalisation to create relevance in Asian urban luxury retail environments.
